Restaurant Rescues
What to expect
We rescue from a variety of restaurants including Chick-Fil-A, Longhorn Steakhouse, Capital Grille, and Yard House. These rescues are usually 2-3 boxes of frozen meat and prepared foods. Sometimes they’ll also include salads or other cold items.
Read the instructions
Each restaurant is a little different! Some of them have you pull around front or others want you to knock on the back employee entrance. The app will tell you what to do when you arrive on the “traveling to donor” page. Then when you click “arrived at donor” it will give you even more instructions for where to go next.
Simple & Small
These rescues are great for anyone who doesn’t want to do a lot of heavy lifting or has a small car. They are typically very simple instructions to follow and are usually only a few boxes full, but they provide great quality meat and prepared foods!
