Last Mile Food Rescue Executive Administrator
Job Description and Responsibilities
Position Title: Last Mile Food Rescue Executive Administrator
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Position Purpose:
Last Mile Food Rescue is a Greater Cincinnati food rescue organization on a mission to save good food and get it to those who need it most. By using the power of volunteers fueled by technology (a mobile app called Last Mile), we connect Food Donors with Nonprofits Agencies who serve the region’s food insecure with volunteer drivers, fighting wasted food and helping to end the hunger. Since opening our doors in November 2020, Last Mile Food Rescue has seen incredible growth, rescuing well over 9 Million pounds of desirable food. Volunteers love the simplicity of the app and accessibility of volunteering close to home. Food Donors and Non-profit Agencies see Last Mile as a critical partner in the effort to eliminate food waste and hunger in our region.
The LMFR Executive Administrator is a part-time position (20 – 30 hrs per week) that provides administrative and clerical support to the Chief Executive Officer as well as general office management.
Major Responsibilities:
The Executive Administrator will magnify the impact of the work of Last Mile Food Rescue through assisting with a variety of administrative and development tasks.
The EA is a natural relationship-builder and taskmaster who thrives in a creative, fast-paced, impact-oriented environment and is deeply aligned with our mission to end wasted food and food insecurity in our community. This position requires the ability to work well with the CEO, staff, and the public in an active environment, and efficiently accomplish multiple duties and tasks successfully.
Responsibilities will include:
Administrative Support
· Provide support for the CEO including managing communications, scheduling, and calendars, generating reports, filing, making copies, etc.
· Prepare CEO for meetings as needed; may include research, assembling and analyzing data, reports, presentations, and documents.
· Help manage the upkeep and appearance of office and public spaces including maintaining equipment and supplies.
Clerical
· Generate and maintain correspondence related to general donors, including thank you letters, responses to inquiries, end of year letters, etc. as directed by the VP of External Relations.
· Input, update and maintain data in Salesforce as needed.
· Upkeep confidential payroll information.
· Assist HR manager with new employee on-boarding, including adding new employee to Paychex.
Communications
· Work with staff to manage and update communications.
Board Support
· Serve as liaison for the Board of Directors and committees. This includes distributing minutes and other documents for the Board, managing board files and directory, and arranging and scheduling Board, committee and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Competencies:
· Passion to make a difference in the areas of hunger relief, food rescue and wasted food reduction
· Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support or 1 year as an executive assistant
· Office management and accounting experience a plus
· Superior organizational and time management skills
· Proficiency in office digital technology and a willingness to learn and employ new technology
· Driver’s license and personal transportation
Work Environment & Culture:
· Reduced/Part-time work structure based in Norwood depending on demand of the day.
· Start-up environment.
· Target base compensation of $18/hr and will be commensurate with experience.

Last Mile Food Rescue Driver
Job Description and Responsibilities
Position Title: Last Mile Driver
Reports to: Dispatch/Fleet Manager
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a dependable, experienced Delivery Driver to become a vital part of our Food Rescue Team. Physical strength and stamina, as well as a clean driving record, are needed. Delivery Drivers need to be organized, efficient and professional at all times while ensuring deliveries are made accurately and on time. The position will start at part time and hours increased as needed.

What does a Last Mile Driver do?
- Regularly rescue food using the LMFR van from multiple locations and delivers to the Food Market location as directed.
- Uses technology and computers for any necessary tasks
- Assists with the loading, sorting and distribution of food.
- Interact with customers in a friendly manner while loading and unloading.
- Accurately records pickup and delivery quantities using LMFR app.
- Perform other activities that help the daily operation of the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-3 years’ driving or warehouse experience (Preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Preferred).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Conversationally Proficient in Spanish (Preferred)
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and submit to pre-employment screening.
- Current driver’s license with good driving record. No moving violations within the past 12 months.
Work Schedule & Requirements:
- Daily 8am-5pm, occasional Saturdays and holidays.
- The ability to lift 30-60 pounds regularly.
- Mild to heavy physical activity involving, moving large objects, setting up tables and tents operating a pallet jack and sorting through food.
Compensation:
$17 an hour

Last Mile Food Rescue Process Coordinator

Position Title: Food Rescue Process Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Manager, Dispatch Operations & Analytics
Position Purpose:
The LMFR Process Coordinator is the critical link getting food donations to Agency Partners via Food Rescue Volunteers using the Last Mile Food Rescue mobile app. The Dispatcher directly impacts the mission of the Last Mile Food Rescue organization by planning food rescues, ensuring they are well executed and maintaining proper digital records for reporting and process improvement.

What does a Food Rescue Process Coordinator do?
• Schedules food rescues from food donors to nonprofit sites.
• Maintains food rescue records, and work with numbers to reconcile pounds.
• Handles calls from volunteers, donors and partners in the food rescue process.
• Seeks solutions that involve critical thinking and problem solving.
• Thinks quickly to make sound decisions, and work with last minute changes.
• Occasionally goes on a food rescue, using their personal vehicle or LMFR truck or van.
• Remains flexible to perform other duties to benefit the mission and vision of LMFR.
Work Schedule & Requirements:
• 40 hour work week, including occasional Saturdays and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 20 – 60 lbs, stand/sit for long periods of time, and drive

• Work full time from office space located in Norwood, Ohio.

Hourly Pay – $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr based on experience
